A third room at Eltham, given over entirely to yoga and barre. Same building as Main Road, different door, up the stairs off Commercial Place. It takes about twenty seconds to find once you know where to look, so here is exactly where to look.
Every HPY membership already covers Studio 3. Nothing to change, nothing extra to pay.
Timber floor, pitched ceiling with the beams left open, and glass doors at the far end that look straight out into the trees. Mats, bolsters, blocks and straps already on the shelves, so there is nothing to carry up.
It is relaxed and cosy in a way that is hard to explain until you are standing in it. Most people work that out in the first five minutes of their first class.
Still no mirrors. That was never going to change just because we gave yoga its own room.
Our Eltham studio at 1032 Main Rd backs onto Commercial Place. Studios 1 and 2 are through the Main Road entrance as always. Studio 3 is upstairs at the rear, with its own door on the Commercial Place side. Three steps and you are there.
On Commercial Place, look for the Eltham Social sign and the picnic tables out the front. The number 70 is on the wall beside the entrance.
Step into the covered entryway. The staircase is immediately on your left, wrapped in greenery, with our sign at the bottom of it. You are not going into the bar.
That is Studio 3. Shoes off at the top, grab a mat from the shelf, pick a spot. Arrive five minutes early for your first one and someone will meet you.

Upstairs at the rear. Yoga and barre.

Reformer, matwork, strength and stretch.
Parking is the same as it has always been for Main Road. Nothing changes there.
Yoga and barre, most days of the week. This is what's running now, and we're still adding to it through September. Days below are the regular pattern, so check the timetable for current times before you book.
Long holds, close to the floor, nothing rushed. The Monday evening class books out most weeks, so get in early for that one.
Movement linked to breath, building through the class. Weekend mornings, which is when most people find they actually have the time.
Half flow, half floor. Sunday late afternoon, which turns out to be a very sensible way to end a weekend.
Built for people who have never done a downward dog and would rather not be the only one in the room working that out.
Small controlled movements, high repetitions, and legs that let you know about it afterwards. New to Eltham with this room.
Rollers, balls and time. The class people book after a heavy week and then keep booking.
A new room doesn't arrive fully booked, and we'd rather add classes as they're wanted than guess. More are going on through September, including a Tuesday evening yoga class and a Thursday evening Vinyasa later in the month.
If there's a time you'd come and it isn't there yet, tell us. That's genuinely how the timetable gets built, and it's a lot easier to shape now than in six months.
Tell us what time suits youAlready booking with us at Eltham? Some classes have moved between rooms now that Studio 3 is open, so check which studio your class is in when you book. Momence shows the room on every session.
Join the Mat Membership in September and come to as many classes as you like for the whole month. Not two a week. As many as you want, across Hurstbridge, Eltham and Diamond Creek.
Billed weekly. That's $156 over a four-week block.
One honest note: the unlimited runs to the end of September, not for a month from whenever you join. Start in the first week and you get the whole thing. No Reformer in this one, everything else is yours.
Studio 3 is already included in whatever you're on. Just book it.
A single class is $25. No membership, no commitment, no follow-up call.
Everything on this page is bookable through Momence. Filter to Eltham Studio 3, find a class that fits your week, and see whether it works before you sign up for anything.
