We've opened a third room at Eltham. To open it properly, the Mat Membership is unlimited for the whole of September. Same $39 a week. Yoga, matwork Pilates, barre, strength and stretch, as many as you like.
One membership, all three studios. Book at Hurstbridge, Eltham and Diamond Creek in the same week if you want to.
To be clear: unlimited means unlimited non-Reformer classes. Reformer Pilates is not part of the Mat Membership.
$39 a week, billed weekly. Four week minimum. No Reformer in this one, everything else is yours.
Not after a membership? Book a single class casually, $25 a class.
Unlimited non-Reformer classes, to 30 September. Join early and you get more of it.
Most people arrive knowing they want to move more, not knowing what suits them. Two classes a week is a slow way to find out. A month of everything is a fast one.
Everything, in this case, means every non-Reformer class. Yoga, matwork Pilates, barre, Stretch and Release, Strength and Conditioning. Reformer Pilates sits on a different membership and is not part of this, in September or after it.
Actual weights. The one people are most surprised we run.
The original method. No machine, nowhere to hide.
Small movements, high reps, legs that let you know later.
Long holds, close to the floor, nothing rushed.
That's one week. There are ten class types running across Hurstbridge, Eltham and Diamond Creek, and in September you can do all of them.
Two classes in a week and the membership has already paid for itself against casual rates. Everything after that is free, for the whole month.
Happier paying as you go? That's fine too. Casual classes are $25 and you can book one without joining anything.
Book a Casual ClassYour membership covers all three studios, and you can book across them freely. What runs where is different at each one though, so here it is straight.
Studio 3, the new yoga and barre room, is here. The timetable is still being added to through September.
Diamond Creek runs Strength and Conditioning only. For yoga, mat, barre or stretch, head to Hurstbridge or Eltham. Your membership covers both.
No guilt trip. Life gets in the way, and most people who stop are dealing with something bigger than a timetable.
But if the last version of us you knew was one room in Hurstbridge, it's worth a look. There are three studios now. Eltham has three rooms, the newest one given over entirely to yoga and barre. The timetable is more than double what it was, and half of it has nothing to do with a Reformer.
September is a low-stakes way to see what it's become. One month, everything open, and if it isn't for you any more, you've lost four weeks at $39.
Across all three studios. These ones are about the classes in this membership.
"A traditional gym membership pay-but-never-actually-go person, I'm now attending at least 3 classes per week, of a huge variety of formats, and my back has seriously never felt so strong and flexible. I feel known, seen and welcome at HPY."
Cheryl J"I've been trying out a few new classes to see what I like most. The teachers have all been very helpful in modifying exercises to suit my pre existing ailments."
Gayle G"Loving the Yin Yoga and the instructors are mindful of your needs and any limits you may have."
Bev B"I love my Matwork Pilates and Strength and Conditioning."
Cassie CThen start with Yoga for Beginners or a Matwork class. Both assume you know nothing, because most people walking in don't. There is no level you need to reach first.
Nobody arrives flexible. That's the reason to come, not the entry requirement. Every class is modified on the spot for whatever your body is doing that day.
You won't. Our rooms run from twenties to eighties, often in the same class, and the strength work in particular matters more the older you get, not less.
Four weeks minimum, then thirty days notice by email whenever you want out. No exit fee, no phone call, no one talking you round.
Two a week and you're already ahead of casual rates, which is what the membership gives you from October anyway. September is the month where coming more costs nothing extra.
The membership settles to two classes a week. Same $39. The price does not go up, there is no introductory rate expiring, and nothing renews at a higher number.
Anything you don't use rolls over for seven days. If you decide it isn't for you, four weeks is the minimum and thirty days notice ends it.
One honest note: the unlimited runs to 30 September, not for a month from whenever you join. Start in the first week and you get the whole thing.
Yes, Hurstbridge, Eltham and Diamond Creek on the one membership, and plenty of people book whichever studio suits the day. Worth knowing that the timetables differ: Hurstbridge and Eltham carry the full range, while Diamond Creek runs Strength and Conditioning only. If you're after yoga, mat, barre or stretch, that means Hurstbridge or Eltham.
Studio 3 is at 3/70 Commercial Place, upstairs at the rear of the same building as 1032 Main Rd. Different door, same parking. There's a step-by-step guide with photos here.
Book through Momence. Classes cap at ten to twelve people, so a few of the popular ones do fill. Booking also means we know to expect you if it's your first.
Yes. Casual is $25 a class for anything non-Reformer, $35 for Reformer, and there's no membership, no minimum term and no sign-up. Pick a class off the timetable here. If you come more than once in a week, the $39 membership works out cheaper, but that's your call to make after you've been.
Water and something you can move in. Mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, rollers and weights are all there.
No. The Mat Membership covers yoga, matwork Pilates, barre, stretch and strength. If Reformer is what you want, our Foundations class is free and you're welcome to it either way.
If you're on the Mat Membership, yes, and you don't need to do anything. On another membership, email us and we'll tell you honestly whether switching is worth it for you.
The room is new, the timetable is the biggest it has ever been, and for September there's no limit on how much of it you use.
Casual is $25 a class, no membership needed.
