Walking into a room full of strangers who already seem to know what they're doing? That takes guts. We get it. Most of our members felt exactly the same way before their first class.
That's why Foundations exists. It's not a watered-down version of a real class. It's a properly designed 45-minute session specifically for people who've never done Pilates before - or haven't done it in years and want to start fresh.
You don't need to be flexible. You don't need to be fit. You don't need to "lose weight first."
No assumptions about what you know. We start from scratch and build from there.
Hands-on introduction to the Reformer and other equipment before we start moving.
Certified instructors who know how to teach beginners, not just demonstrate.
Everyone in the room is in the same boat. No experts making you feel behind.
Leave with the basics you need to walk into any class with confidence.
We greet you by name, show you where everything is, and introduce you to your instructor. No clipboard. No awkward standing around.
Hands-on introduction to the equipment. Springs, straps, footbar - we walk you through it all before you move a muscle.
Follow along at your own pace. Every exercise has options for different levels, and your instructor is right there adjusting and encouraging.
Built-in moments throughout the class to check in, ask questions, and make sure you're comfortable before moving on.
A quick debrief after class. We'll answer any questions, talk about what you felt, and point you to what's next. No sales pitch.
The whole thing takes under an hour. And there's no sales pitch at the end. Promise.
We built HPY around a few ideas that most studios ignore. They shape everything from how we teach to how the room feels when you walk in.
We're not here to wreck you. We're here to build something that lasts.
Pilates is about precision. Every movement has purpose. No mirrors, no distractions.
We care about how well you live, not just how long. Strength, mobility, balance - for the decades ahead.
Small classes, certified instructors, and a room full of people who genuinely want to be here.
The nervous system regulation you feel after class isn't accidental. It's by design.
This is why members stay. Not because they're locked in - because they don't want to leave.
